A Little about Me
I feel like I woke up some time in the last year and a half, when I realised I'm not happy being a consumer, bowing down to markets and following the crowd. Instead of striving to acquire more, I just sold most of my stuff and made myself lighter, more free.
Since then I have been looking into what does make me happy, what things are important to me, and I boiled it down to a few key points:
People - family and friends of course, and everyone else too! Everyone has value.
Nutrition - maximising my energy and strength
Adventuring - seeing everything for myself
Creating - being able to do anything with my hands
It was only a matter of time before I came across alternative building methods, and the research began there. I did my first build recently in Wales, and I'm keen to get on more and learn as much as I can.

Why I Build Sustainably
It's the future!
Once you know about it, it would be insane to build conventional.
Skills I would like to Work on or Share.
Did the first year of NVQ carpentry and joinery, so I'm pretty handy on the tools.
I've done a straw bale build and learned how to stack, pin and repair bales. Would like to learn more about land acquisition, building design, flooring and other construction methods....all right, pretty much everything.
