Skills I would like to Work on or Share.

I've been learning the guitar for the past year on the road and I always love to learn more. I also want to learn about education and teaching philosophy to children, especially. And, of course, I try to learn as much about natural building as possible.

My Life Philosophy

Life is simple; enjoy it

Building Styles I have Experience in

Rammed Earth
Earthship/used tires
Adobe/Mud Bricks
Reclaimed Materials
Local Materials (ie Sustainable Wood)
Thatched
I´ve participated in the building of two earthships, one a bathhouse and the other a yoga studio. The Yogaship was with a thatched roof, so I also have a bit of experience with that. I´m familiar with techniques to collect/divert water around a building. I built sliding doors from bamboo and ropes made of cactus. I know a technique to waterproof cob with Opuntia cactus and a technique to protect natural ropes from water, bugs, and general wear with pine tar. I've also built walls with the rammed earth and wattle and daub techniques. I´m happy to share any of the things that I´ve learned along the way with anyone who is interested.
