Build Project Description
The build site is in a suburban neighborhood, it has easy access and parking, the structure is based on a design by John Fordice called the Solar oval, it's 120 sq. ft. which falls into the permit exemption category in the City of Houston. Currently it is an all volunteer crew changing daily dependent upon who is available, the core crew is myself and Jeff Smith, President of ACT Houston. The build is for the Real School facility, a non-hierarchical learning environment, free of coercion and control and rooted in consensus decision making. The weather is typical Texas weather.

I am thinking about travelling to Houston in a month or so and am looking for sustainable living opportunities to involve myself in. Could you give me more information on the status of natural building there?
